ChangeMakers Leader

Crow is a 14-year-old eighth grade student in North Miami. She was engaged in ChangMakers last year as a youth attendee where she learned about boundaries, self-determination, and navigating potentially unsafe or discriminatory spaces. Crow chose to step into her power and successfully applied to be a ChangeMakers Leader in 2022. She hopes to bring her perspective as a pansexual youth to raise public attention to the realities that LGBTQ youth face while also taking direct action to address issues like food insecurity and safety in the LGBTQ community. As a Changemakers Leader, Crow is excited to build a leadership community with other LGBTQ youth and to create campaigns that inform the public about impactful moments and people in LGBTQ history. Her areas of focus include community education to build pride and connection among LGBTQ youth and how to navigate homophobic/transphobic environments.
