Who can use your services?

The Alliance is committed to serving, nurturing, and empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. There are a few eligibility factors to keep in mind:

  • We primarily support youth between the ages of 11-18, however, there are instances where we provide services to clients as young as 8 years old and up to age 22 (e.g., youth who have not attained a standard high school diploma and who continue attending classes guided by an IEP; older youth experiencing housing instability)

  • Our care coordination and clinical services are currently provided to residents of Miami-Dade County only

  • We work with youth individually and with family members of LGBTQ youth

  • We work with community agencies, schools, and organizations to provide support and trainings

Where are you located?

Our main office is located in North Miami. The address is:
1175 NE 125th Street, Suite 103
North Miami, FL 33161.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, services were being provided in the community across Miami-Dade County, including Miami-Dade County Public Schools, as well as other settings deemed accessible and safe by our youth. As we prepare to return to in-person services, please know that if your school is not an option due to fear of further stigmatization or harm, we will meet with youth and families in spaces that feel private and safe to our youth, such as our office, a local library, etc.

Currently, most of our services are being provided via telehealth.

What's the cost? Do you take insurance?

At The Alliance, we believe the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQ, their families, and communities come first. As such, all of our programs and services are provided at NO COST thanks to our generous funder, The Children’s Trust.

How can I support the work you do at The Alliance?
