The Alliance Queer Youth Art Show is a celebration of creativity and identity centering the stories and voices of LGBTQ+ youth across South Florida. This event provides young queer artists with a platform to publicly showcase their work, build confidence, and share their perspectives with the broader community. Participating youth also gain leadership development opportunities through hands-on experience in curating, presenting, and speaking about their art.
We are currently accepting art from LGBTQ+ young people and allies ages 13-24. If you would like to submit your work, click here
We welcome all artistic mediums, including visual art, photography, painting, mixed media, writing, poetry, film, and performance.
Our opening night reception will take place on Saturday, May 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
By inviting affirming families, friends, and community members into this space, we aim to create a visibly intergenerational experience where young artists are celebrated and uplifted.
The reception is completely free. We will have light snacks, beverages, and art stations to create your own art while there. Please RSVP here.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating young queer talent and stories!
