Queer Quilt Making

Join us for Queer Quilt Making, an afternoon of creativity, community, and LGBTQ+ history. This workshop invites youth to learn about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, the legacy of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, and the ways art has been used to honor, remember, and advocate for our communities.

Participants will engage in a collaborative quilt making activity, reflect on LGBTQ+ resilience, and connect with other local queer youth in a welcoming space.

This event is open to LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 13–18.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.
