ChangeMakers Leader

Jay is a 14-year-old MDCPS high school freshman in Kendall. As a young, bisexual trans male, Jay hopes to share his own knowledge and lived experience of discrimination to create and be a part of a support network and community for others who are marginalized because of their race, identity, sexuality, or other identities. As a ChangeMakers Leader, Jay is excited to work as a team and build together with supportive peers while learning to be a safe, reliable, motivational leader. Jay’s areas of focus include addressing discrimination that LGBTQ+ students and students of color face in the school environment.
