Karma is an 18-year-old high school senior in Cutler Bay. As a Black Hispanic non-binary pansexual person, they bring the perspective of someone living at the intersection of multiple oppressed identities. They share how these experiences shape them and what it means to be truly recognized and seen—for who they are and for the communities they represent.   

With a focus on respect and inclusivity, Karma is committed to guiding their community through both good and challenging times. As a ChangeMaker’s Leader, their main goal is to gain a stronger connection to their community. He’s looking forward to practicing self-empowerment and building confidence in his public speaking, as well as sharing his ideas. Karma’s areas of focus include expanding access to healthcare, including abortion and HRT, not only for transgender individuals but for all who rely on these essential services.
