Kilian is a 16-year-old high school sophomore attending Miami Dade virtual school. Understanding that every person holds their own experiences of oppression and discrimination, Kilian hopes to offer insights informed by his identity as a Cuban pansexual trans man. As a ChangeMakers Leader, Kilian is excited to engage with different perspectives on LGBTQ issues and learn new methods for combatting the oppression he and others are facing. Due to the intensified political landscape in Florida for his community, Kilian’s areas of focus include trans issues, particularly legislation surrounding trans youth.
