Sean Rowley, Esq. (he/him)
Board Member

Sean is a public interest attorney who serves as the Advocacy Director for Tenants’ Rights at Legal Services of Greater Miami. Sean went to law school knowing he wanted to work at a non-profit firm. While in college, Sean became active in the LGBTQ rights movement and co-founded the Equal Rights Alliance on his campus, which was a student group organized to put pressure on the university to provide domestic partner benefits to same sex partners of the University’s employees. The student-led group organized protests and public education around the issue of same sex benefits. His work as an LGBTQ student leader made him more passionate about social justice issues and caused him to work closely with civil liberties attorneys in his community. This experience steered him in the direction of public interest law. Sean is committed to expanding legal services to support low-income members of the LGBTQ community. He has served on the Board of Directors of The Alliance for LGBTQ Youth since February 2017 and previously served as Board Secretary.
