Vince is a 19-year-old sophomore at Miami Dade College. He was born and raised in Miami by working class immigrant parents, coming from Costa Rica and Argentina. As an Indigenous mixed, queer/bi/pan, trans man, Vince is a big people person who loves working in teams and offers the ability to solve problems quickly. As a ChangeMakers Leader, Vince is passionate about community-led direct-action efforts and hopes to build his communication skills. Vince’s areas of focus are informed by his current understanding of the local Miami landscape and include meeting safety needs for queer communities, addressing housing and food insecurity, as well as initiating direct action and mutual aid efforts that community members can participate in.
